Joshua Rogers joins Harris Teeter as Director of Asset Protection and Safety

Joshua Rogers will join Harris Teeter as Director of Asset Protection and Safety on April 20, 2026.

In this role, Joshua will lead Asset Protection, providing strategic oversight of Harris Teeter’s Asset Protection, Physical Security, Investigations, Compliance, Audit and Safety programs.

Joshua brings extensive experience in asset protection, with a strong background in incident response, fraud prevention, workplace violence mitigation and physical security.

He joins Harris Teeter from Food Lion, where he served as Director of Asset Protection for more than 1,100 stores across the Southeast. There, he led initiatives to strengthen team structure, improve engagement, drive cost savings through risk modeling and build strong law enforcement partnerships.

Previously, Joshua held leadership roles in Division and Regional Loss Prevention and started his career as a Store Manager, where he delivered strong business results and was recognized as Store Manager of the Year.

Village Super Market, Inc., has named Eric J. Glofka as Senior Director, Asset Protection & Risk

In this role, Eric leads enterprise-wide asset protection, safety, and food safety across Village Super Market’s multi-brand grocery portfolio, including ShopRite, Fairway Market, and Gourmet Garage. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Operations, he oversees functional directors and field teams, with responsibility for enterprise risk strategy, operational resilience, and long-term capital planning.

Eric Glofka brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in Fortune 50 retail environments, with expertise in asset protection, safety, fraud prevention, and operational excellence. He is known for building strong teams and aligning risk strategy with business goals. His appointment reflects Village Super Market’s continued investment in protecting the business, strengthening execution, and supporting growth across its brands.

Tim Murfin named Vice President – Asset Protection & Safety for The Winn-Dixie Company

Before being named Vice President – Asset Protection & Safety for The Winn-Dixie Company, Tim spent more than 11 years with Southeastern Grocers in various roles, including VP – AP & Safety, Senior Director – AP Operations, Direct – AP, and Senior Manager – Regional AP. Brandon Cummings, CFI, LPC promoted to Sr Director – Asset Protection & Safety for Dollar General

Brandon has been with Dollar General for more than eight years, starting with the company in 2017 as Senior Manager – Asset Protection Programs. Before his promotion to Sr Director – Asset Protection & Safety, he served as Director – Corporate Asset Protection for more than six years. Prior to Dollar General, he held roles with Victoria’s Secret and Camping World & Good Sam. Congratulations, Brandon!

Anthony Gabino promoted to Senior Director of Enterprise Asset Protection & Inventory Control for Kendra Scott

Anthony Gabino has been promoted to Senior Director of Enterprise Asset Protection and Inventory Control. Anthony has been with Kendra Scott for the past 5 years where he first started as a Senior Manager, creating the Asset Protection department. Prior to Kendra Scott, Anthony was at Tailored Brands for two years assisting the rebuiling of the Loss Prevention department, and at Chico’s FAS for 8 years in various roles prior to that. ALTO Welcomes Alaina Kring as Senior Director of Partnership Development

Alaina began her career in law enforcement as a Special Agent with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, where she built a strong foundation in complex investigations, intelligence-led operations, and collaborative problem-solving. She later transitioned into retail, holding progressive leadership roles at Walgreens and Ross Dress for Less as an Area Loss Prevention Manager. In these roles, she partnered closely with store operations, cross-functional business leaders, and law enforcement to reduce risk and protect people, assets, and brand integrity.


She went on to play a key role at Ulta Beauty, where she helped develop and scale the company’s Organized Retail Crime (ORC) program as Senior Manager. In this role, she drove cross-functional collaboration, strengthened external partnerships, and advanced enterprise-level strategies to combat retail crime. Alaina later served as Senior Director of Loss Prevention Field Operations and Investigations at Gabe’s, leading company-wide teams, overseeing investigations, and implementing scalable field programs that balanced operational excellence with safety, security, and profitability.


Most recently, Alaina served as Director of Retail Partnerships at Auror, where she supported Walmart’s global accounts, operating at the intersection of technology, retail, and public-private collaboration to drive impact at scale.
