Thieves smash into Bangers and Lace in Wicker Park, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) — Thieves smashed into a Wicker Park bar Thursday morning, Chicago police said.

The incident took place at about 2:15 a.m. at Bangers and Lace in the 1600-block of West Division Street.

Police said three people broke into the business by smashing the glass front door and stole cash.

The three took off in a white sedan westbound on Division Street, police said.

Area Five detectives are investigating.
