A WALMART shopper has been freaked out after a run-in with a backed-up receipt check line and locked products.
The wait time to get razors and deodorant out of the locked case at Walmart was so long that she decided not to purchase them.
The shopper, Abigial (@Abby_Sariah), shared her negative experience on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“When I went to Walmart in ghettos areas I had to wait in a long receipt check line,” Abigail said.
“When I wanted razors and deodorant, had to wait for an associate to unlock so I didn’t buy it.”
Abigail declared that these anti-theft protocols are not how we all should be living our lives.

“It’s no way to live!” Abigail said.
She also complained about how much time it already took her to get to the store to just give up on getting what she needed.
“And lots of traffic to boot,” Abigail said.
“No thanks.”

Abigail’s tweet came in response to another about how everything was spotted locked up in a Target in San Francisco, California.
They added similar feelings that something doesn’t feel right about the anti-theft protocols.
“San Francisco Target has EVERYTHING locked up,” the other X user complained.
“This is not the America I grew up in …
“What is happening in our country?”
Many people have expressed their dislike for receipt checks lately after Walmart started implementing them at most of its stores.
WALMART STRUGGLES
Another Walmart shopper said they felt uncomfortable after an employee demanded to see their receipt before they even walked away from the self-checkout machine.
The exchange led the customer to become very heated that the employee would treat them this way.
“Asking me if I purchased what’s in my bag as if I’m not showing her the damn receipt and then have the nerve to ask me what it is on the receipt,” they said.
In a different scenario, a Walmart shopper referred to employees asking to check receipts as peasants.

They added that Walmart is a “dingy” store that they would not be stealing from.
