An Indiana state police trooper was shot Friday morning in Michigan City, Indiana.
Footage from an ABC7 Chicago helicopter showed evidence markers surrounded an Indiana State Police SUV at a Speedway in Michigan City.
Indiana state police confirmed there was an officer-involved shooting but haven’t released any additional information. The trooper’s condition was not known.
State police announced a press conference was scheduled for 10:30 a.m. to provide an update.
