In this new role, Gabriel will lead enterprise-wide efforts to safeguard company assets, strengthen operational performance, and advance a culture of safety, integrity, and accountability across all Staples locations.

Gabriel brings more than 15 years of progressive experience in asset protection, investigations, and brand integrity. He most recently served as Senior Director of Brand & Trade Protection and Investigations at EssilorLuxottica, where he led global initiatives to protect brands, reduce risk, and combat organized retail crime. His earlier experience includes leadership roles with Toys“R”Us, T-Mobile, and Gap Inc., where he built and mentored high-performing teams focused on operational excellence and investigative strategy.

Gabriel holds a master’s degree in Legal Studies and Business Law from Northeastern University and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Framingham State University. Congratulations, Gabriel, on this well-earned achievement and exciting new chapter with Staples!
