FaceFirst announces two team member promotions

Chris Ryan was promoted to vice president of sales, and Bobby Mothershed was promoted to executive director of sales and business development strategy.

Ryan is a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of driving innovation and managing complex enterprise accounts. With expertise in computer vision, AI, machine learning, and physical security systems, Ryan is passionate about solving real-world customer challenges. His deep industry knowledge and customer-first approach enable him to deliver impactful results and build lasting client relationships.

Throughout his career, Ryan has excelled in engaging Fortune 50 clients as a strategic account executive at Sensormatic Solutions by Johnson Controls. He has led high-profile projects that have driven significant outcomes. He has also held leadership roles in sales strategy and product management, including launching mobile apps for Tyco Security Products and modernizing go-to-market strategies for Tyco Integrated Security. Ryan holds a B.S. in business management from Clemson University, where he also played lacrosse. He is currently based in St. Simons Island, Georgia, with his wife, Kellie, and their three children.

Mothershed’s career spans more than 25 years of experience in senior LP positions for Macy’s and The Home Depot, as well as key business development and operations skills. Mothershed served as a director in asset protection, investigations, and operations at Macy’s. He also led loss prevention teams and investigations while with The Home Depot.
