When officers arrived they found an older adult woman laying in the parking lot of a Food Lion.
LAUREL, Md. — Laurel Police are investigating a crash that left a woman dead in the parking lot of a grocery store.
On Tuesday, officers were called out to the 410 block of Sandy Spring Road in Laurel, Maryland, around 3:45 p.m. When officers arrived they found an older adult woman laying in the parking lot of a Food Lion.
The driver remained on the scene to talk to police. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
At this time it is unknown what led up to the crash.
The investigation into this deadly crash is active and ongoing.
