Having 28 years of experience in the Financial Services industry, I have been lucky enough to have many amazing experiences covering different types of roles and working in different parts of the world. I have really enjoyed working with different types of people and cultures in roles across the sell and buy-side covering multiple products.
I have spent the last 20+ years working within Markets and Securities Services Business product lines, with five of those based in Malaysia and the Philippines. I really enjoyed my time overseas as it provided me the opportunity challenge myself and managed large and diverse teams and deliver material change and benefit. Additional career highlight include running functions as part of Broker Outsourcing which provide many incredible learning opportunities.
I keep up to date with what is happening in the industry today and what tomorrow and the day after may look like. Understanding the direction of digital, the impacts of ESG, changes to the future of work, and post trade infrastructure are interests I have.
My standout memories, throughout my career are always the people. Moving through teams and countries, I have prided myself on making long lasting, strong connections with a multitude of hard working, like minded, great people. With the ups and downs of life, family and work, the inspirational leaders, resilient teams and kind people I have encountered along the way have improved the journey immeasurably. I have always used these experiences to create the best possible environment for teams to operate at their best.
