The 30-year-old was arrested at Walmart in Evansville, Indiana on Wednesday at 8:30 pm following reports of a theft.
According to officers, suspect Jeanette Matlock was taken into custody by an asset protection employee.

Shoplifting has also led to a rise in anti-theft measures such as locking away certain items behind plexiglass, conducting receipt checks, and limiting opening times, frustrating both the law-abiding shopper and retailers.
As a result, some customers find they have long waits to retrieve locked-up items, are falsely accused of theft, and have to wait for their receipts to be checked and verified.
