
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Victims of a kidnapping at an Orange County Walmart are safe after being found on Saturday, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said they responded to the store located at 2271 North Semoran Boulevard around 1:30 p.m. regarding a kidnapping.

According to officials, a suspect followed the victims into the Walmart, “discharged a weapon one time,” before leading them to a vehicle.

Deputies said the suspect then left the scene before law enforcement arrived.
The victims were later located safe and no injuries were reported.
Officials did not say how many people were kidnapped, how they found them or if they are still looking for a suspect.
No other information was released, but News 6 did follow up requesting more information.
The investigation is ongoing, deputies said.
