AN ATM user put out a warning to other bank account holders about a scam that could empty their bank accounts.
Paul shared a TikTok video about how people can find this scam and what specific feature they should look out for.

The TikToker (@plkup) shared a video where a customer was about to place his card into a seemingly normal-looking ATM.
He explained what sign made him hesitate and not use the machine.
“Notice that there’s a little bit of glue, you can see it right here,” he said.
“And just because I’m paranoid with cybersecurity so I decided to just go ahead and give it a tug.”

In the video, He was able to pull off the slot to reveal it was a card skimmer.
“It actually comes right off,” he said.
The card skimmer looked like the atm’s original green card slot underneath.
“This is very well made,” he explained.

“You can see it’s an exact replica.”
In the video, the man then turned to the bank customer next to him who was also using an ATM to check her machine.
He tried to tug on the card slot but the other machine did not have a card skimmer on it.
“This one right here you can tell is safe cause you can’t take this off,” he explained.
Paul warned viewers of this fraud and told people about the potential outcomes of this scam.
“They found a New way to steal your credit card!!! Be Safe,” he warned.

“I always pull on them bc I’m paranoid,” one person said.
