ANGRY shoppers are expressing their concerns with Target, calling for a boycott and rushing to Home Depot instead.
Target has been under fire recently due to various campaigns, including some Christmas decorations.
Shoppers have been sharing their stance on X, the platform previously known as Twitter.
They’ve been asking people to boycott Target and go to Home Depot for their shopping needs.
“I’m heading out to Home Depot now!!!!!!!!” wrote someone.
“EVERYONE should shop there- SUPPORT HOME DEPOT and BOYCOTT TARGET.”

The tweet was in response to a statement regarding Bernie Marcus, the co-founder of Home Depot, who’s experienced some controversy due to his personal politics.
Marcus recently said he would support Donald Trump even if he was convicted of a crime, sparking outrage from some people.
“I think so. Because I think it’s all trumped up,” he said in an interview with Reuters.
He said that even if he’ll support Trump’s bid, he is “not one of his big givers.”

These statements angered some Home Depot shoppers, who asked for a boycott of the store as well.
“Bernie Marcus, co-founder of Home Depot, worth a said $8.8 billion is once again funding Trump’s reelection,” wrote a critic on X.
“I shop at Lowe’s.”
When reached out for comment, the Home Depot made it clear that Marcus has no connection to the store now
“Bernie Marcus retired from The Home Depot more than 20 years ago, and he does not speak on behalf of the company,” said the retail corporation.
One of Target’s most controversial campaigns was introduced this month, made out of ornaments that include a nutcracker with a pride flag and Santa Claus on a wheelchair.
“Never going back to target- dead to me,” wrote a critic on Twitter.
“I stopped shopping there this year,” wrote a second critic.
“Never going back #bantarget.”
Still, despite the outrage, some shoppers liked the new merchandise and have made it clear that they would be supporting Target in the future.
