The Schenectady County incident happened early Saturday morning, April 12, outside the Sliderz Bar & Grill in Rotterdam, located on Guilderland Avenue, according to Rotterdam Police.
A man walked into the emergency room at Ellis Hospital suffering from a stab wound at around 4 a.m. Hospital staff then contacted Schenectady County law enforcement.
An investigation found that the man got into an altercation outside Sliderz Bar & Grill and was stabbed in the torso, police said. The victim was listed in stable condition. Nobody else was injured in the attack.
Police described the suspect as a light skin or Hispanic male wearing a red hat and red sweatshirt.
