A WALMART shopper with a major platform has torn into the company’s self-checkout lines and its time-consuming receipt check.
Drizzy, a businessman and real estate investor and Los Angeles Rams safety John Johnson III spoke out on their latest podcast episode – and the two went to town on “the Walmart madness.”
In a short clip of the No Bluffin podcast (@NoBluffinPod) posted on YouTube, Drizzy explained his most recent experience with the chain retailer.
“I went to Walmart today, the line to leave is longer than the line at the register,” he said.
“But why wait,” Johnson responded when Drizzy asked if he would wait for his receipt to be checked.
“They better catch me,” he continued, referring to the employees.

In his passionate speech about Walmart, Drizzy said that they could come to his car to check his receipt because he refused to wait any longer.
He then went on to slam the checkout machines at the store, claiming he spent close to an hour waiting to leave the store.
“First of all, half of ya’ll self checkout machines don’t work,” Drizzy said with his voice raised.
“Half of them dont work. I’m standing in line for 20 minutes to pay.

“Now you want me to wait another 10 minutes for this person to scan my receipt.”
The exasperated shopper explained that receipt checkers often check bags as well but that he wouldn’t be waiting for an employee to do that either.
Johnson also noted that the workers don’t scan the receipts and Drizzy said they only glance at them.
The company has continued to receive reviews from angry customers concerning their self-checkout and receipt-checking procedures.
The U.S. previously reported on a Walmart customer who spent half an hour in the self-checkout lines.
“Spent 30 minutes waiting in line at Walmart self-checkout,” Mitchell (@_MitchellHODL) said in their post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“What phase of the recession is this?” he added.
Walmart responded to their tweet expressing that he should not have to wait and asked him to contact them with more information on their experience.
In another instance, The U.S. Sun reported on a man who refused to show his receipt to workers, calling it his “private property” and was followed into the parking lot.
The employees and shopper got into a heated back-and-forth about showing the receipt.
“I legally do not have to [show you my receipt],” said the customer.
Receipt checking has continued to receive backlash from customers with complaints rising rapidly.
Attorneys have explained to shoppers when they do and do not have to stop to show proof of their purchase to staff.
“They can ask you to show your receipt and you can consensually allow them to do it,” said lawyer Alex Colangelo.

“But there is no power or authority to detain you if you say no.”
