A WALMART shopper has had enough of the big box retailer.
Ontario, Canada resident Paula Fletcher slammed Walmart after she said an employee made her feel like a felon in the store.
She recalled an instance in 2019 when she was checking out her items at self-checkout when she noticed an employee eyeing her down.
Fletcher said that the worker watched her every move while she scanned her items.
Even after the employee watched her checkout, she said the worker demanded to examine her receipt and grocery bags.
Fletcher said that the employee “did not make it an option.”

“I don’t like being treated as a criminal,” she told CBC.
“If they don’t trust us, they shouldn’t have self-checkout.”
The U.S. Sun has reached out to Walmart for comment.
Walmart typically checks receipts at the door to combat retail theft.

However, the big box retailer does not have a nationwide policy that requires shoppers to show their receipts to employees.
Police officer Krisa Brass of the Scottsbluff Police Department in Nebraska said that shoppers are allowed to refuse receipt checks, The U.S. Sun previously reported.
However, she noted that if employees surmise that you’re shoplifting, “they are allowed to detain you until law enforcement arrives per Nebraska state statute.”
Aside from receipt checks, Walmart also has camera systems throughout their stores to monitor shoplifters.
Walmart’s loss prevention staff can take shoplifters to court, The U.S. Sun previously reported.
“They will come to court, and they will stay the whole day, and they will bring stuff, and they will testify against you, and you will lose,” Georgia-based attorney (@mercyminute) said in a TikTok video.
She also noted that Walmart has the right to ban any shoplifter from all of their stores.
