A WALMART shopper has vowed that he won’t show his receipt if asked to do so by a store worker.
Receipt checks are common at membership stores such as Costco and Sam’s Club, but the inspections have started to creep in at popular supermarkets.
It seems to be at the discretion of bosses at individual stores whether receipts are checked as Walmart has no formal policy.
But, the inspections have irked some shoppers – especially as they take place after customers have paid for their goods.
“I refuse to let the receipt checker stop me in any store after I had to check out and bag my own s**t,” Scott Nosenko (@nosenkoscott) posted on X, formerly Twitter.
“F**k you, I paid, I’m leaving.”
