ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Global security management professional association ASIS International has announced its programming lineup for Global Security Exchange (GSX) 2025 with in-person and digital experiences scheduled for Sept. 29-Oct. 1 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans and via the online GSX event platform.

Inside the GSX 2025 Agenda
Encompassing more than 200 sessions tackling “vital issues in the security profession,” the newly announced GSX session lineup includes in-depth looks at timely issues within the following focus areas: Crime, Digital Transformation, Information Security, Law and Ethics, Managing Organizations, National Security, Physical and Operational Security, Professional Development and Risk Management.

“GSX serves as the essential catalyst where global security leaders unite to shape our industry’s future,” says 2025 ASIS International president Joe Olivarez Jr., in the association announcement. “This transformative experience combines world-class education with groundbreaking technology showcases, creating an environment where critical connections are forged, and strategic insights are exchanged.
“Whether in-person or through our digital platforms, GSX empowers professionals to elevate their expertise, expand their influence, and address tomorrow’s security challenges with confidence and vision,” he says.
Each day of the conference will feature an advanced-level Game Changer session designed to “explore trends that will shape the security industry’s future.”
Monday’s session is titled “When High-Profile Means Danger: Protecting Executives from Public Threats,” Tuesday’s session is “Risk is Everywhere: Fostering Safety in the Workplace, Schools and Public Spaces,” and “Resilience Amid Changing Conditions: Partnerships, Risk Transference and New Patterns to Predict” will cap the game changer sessions on Wednesday.
GSX keynote speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.
GSX Pre-Conference Events
In addition to the conference’s primary programming, GSX 2025 will feature multiple pre-conference events on Saturday and Sunday, including two-day workshops on facility security design and executive presence, APP, CPP, and PSP certification reviews and Secure Horizons: An Immersive Experience for Senior Security Executives.
Saturday will also feature a workshop on ESRM, and Sunday’s programming will include workshops on crime prevention, ASIS Volunteers’ Day and the ASIS Awards of Excellence and the Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs).
GSX education sessions include “expert-led deep dives that can improve the practice of security professionals at any stage of their career,” covering topics such as, artificial intelligence, ESRM best practices, active assailants and workplace violence, cybersecurity, business continuity and crisis management, crime prevention and more.
All-Access Pass registrants can earn up to 22 CPEs toward their recertification whether they attend the in-person or digital experience.
Digital attendees will be able to access online GSX session recordings through Dec. 31. In-person attendees can add digital access of captured content to their registration. The complete digital session lineup will be announced shortly.
The GSX 2025 exhibit hall will feature about 500 companies highlighting drones, cybersecurity, robotics and uncrewed systems, while Career HQ will focus on career development. More details about both offerings and the digital programming slate will be announced in the coming weeks.
