Fisher-Price issued the recall for about 15,300 3-in-1 SnugaPuppy Activity Centers, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said on Thursday, April 10. The center’s tissue box toy can break apart, exposing small support brackets that pose a choking risk to young children.
No injuries have been reported, according to the CPSC. Fisher-Price said it received one report of the toy coming apart and an infant placing a support bracket in their mouth.
The activity centers were sold from November 2022 through February 2025 at Walmart stores nationwide. They were also available online through Amazon and several other retailers for about $130.
The center has the model number “HLV78” printed on the underside of the table near the Fisher-Price logo. There were also about 2,000 centers sold in Canada.
Parents should immediately remove the tissue box toy from the activity center, keep it away from children, and contact Fisher-Price for a free replacement. Mattel is asking customers to mark the recalled toy with the word “recall” and an identifier code before throwing it away and uploading a photo.
You can learn more about the recall by calling Fisher-Price at 855-853-6224 or by visiting Mattel’s website.
