A 15-year-old boy and 18-year-old woman were fatally shot during a fight in the Westgate Mall parking lot Saturday night, authorities said.
Two young people were fatally shot during a fight at a Brockton mall Saturday night, the Plymouth District Attorney’s Office said Sunday.
Brockton police responded to the Westgate Mall parking lot at around 7 p.m. Saturday night for reports of “several teens fighting,” Plymouth District Attorney Tim Cruz said on X.
The victims include a 15-year-old boy and an 18-year-old woman, the DA’s office said. The 15-year-old was shot outside a Chipotle restaurant, and the 18-year-old was shot in front of a nearby Starbucks, according to WCVB.
The victims have not yet been publicly identified, nor have any arrests been announced as of Sunday evening.
An investigation into the shooting is currently active, according to the DA’s office.
