A thief stole from the IL Culaccino restaurant on South Indiana Avenue in South Loop, Chicago while customers dined nearby, surveillance video showed.
CHICAGO (WLS) — Surveillance video captured a thief stealing from a South Loop restaurant.
The theft happened shortly after noon Sunday at IL Culaccino in the 2100 block of South Indiana Avenue, the owner said.

The thief can be seen on video rifling through items.
Owner Frank Ruffolo says the man took off with the cash register and some liquor.
It all happened while the other part of the restaurant was filled with customers.
“We had a great crowd because of the marathon,” Ruffolo said.
Ruffolo said his restaurant was also robbed about three months ago.
